Established in 1986 by Salim Azzi and his two sons Joseph and Abdo. Ste Libanaise d’Ameublement S.A.R.L has since then expanded via a well organized network, qualified labours and sophistication that confirm Ste Libanaise d’Ameublement S.A.R.L as one of the foremost names in Lebanese upholstering industry.

Since 1986, dedicated employees of S.L.A. have been hand-building upholstered furniture of timeless beauty, with quality born of pride in their work. 

Because of their commitment to excellence, the company has enjoyed an irrefutable reputation for upholstered furniture.

In May 2003 During the Ceremony Held in GENEVA for the Century international Quality ERA Award Ste Libanaise D’ameublement S.A.R.L. received The Century international Quality ERA Award in Gold Category in Recognition of outstanding commitment to Quality and Exellence and in the realm of Customer Satisfaction , leadership, Strategic planning and Benchmarking, as established in the QC 100 TQM System : Total Quality Management

In May 2007 and after the retirement of Salim Azzi the father , Joseph Azzi and his sons Elie , Salim and Samer acquired the whole shares of the company to become the new owners and Managers.

 

Our History

Some people pass through their lives and never leave a mark, while others create an imprint out of their talents. Salim Azzi built himself, not only as a person but also as an artist, by creating furniture.

It all started in 1943, at the age of 12, when Azzi worked in a furniture shop. After developing his talent, his uncle asked him to work at his store. Despite the distance he had to cross, and despite his very young age, Azzi worked hard.

With dedication and passion, Salim Azzi started proving himself by getting work opportunities in the domain of furniture, beginning with his work with Elias Daou, who taught him the technical skills.
Passion and Dedication
In 1975, after fixing his father’s old sofa, Azzi started going from job to job, working on several projects, and finally went to Saudi Arabia to build a castle for Princess Noura, and another one for Prince Salman, in Jeddah.
From city to city
The war in Lebanon was at its peak, and no matter how much Azzi wanted to pursue his dreams in the country, he was unable to stay, because of the outrageous situation. Azzi went from city to another. (suffered..travelling..)
Dream of Coming Home
Azzi went back to Lebanon, in 1976, to achieve his dream in owning a company, which became a reality in 1986, as he created the “Societe Libanaise d’Amoublement”, Salim Azzi and Sons.”
Home Sweet Home
In 1992, the company’s success started emerging, with the export of furniture and home furnishings to KSA. In 1995, Azzi put in place his first showroom, as the company started collaborating with other companies and became famous for manufacturing all kinds of furniture.
